For the past 19 years, Mrs. Velangulam’s work has focused on federal health IT and managing multiple programs as a project and account manager supporting the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). She possesses extensive knowledge of the healthcare industry and is experienced in overseeing the functional and technical aspects of multiple projects with multiple stakeholders and managing healthcare programs and healthcare quality improvement initiatives.
Mrs. Velangulam's results-oriented approach has not only delivered innovative solutions to streamline client business processes, but has also earned her and her team significant recognition. They were honored with the Federal Health IT Innovation award in 2017 and 2023, a testament to their impactful work. As a co-inventor of CGI Intellectual Property Product called RxPlanAdvisor, she has demonstrated her ability to develop in-house solutions that streamline CMS business processes and empower consumers to make informed decisions on health plan selection.
