David is a Product Specialist for our Newsroom Solutions. He is responsible for implementing innovative solutions for our CGI OpenMedia platform for complete journalistic workflows. In this role, he integrates AI-powered modules that seamlessly merge into workflows and enable media professionals to deliver impactful stories worldwide. His goal is to continuously elevate the value of CGI OpenMedia, such as improving usability and user experiences.
Joining CGI in 2019, David worked as a software engineer for CGI OpenMedia before becoming a product owner on the software integration team, and later moving into a product specialist role based on his expertise in third-party integrations.
As a product owner, he played a key role in project planning, implementation, and support as well as the maintenance of existing IT infrastructure. In doing so, he acquired in-depth knowledge regarding interfaces between applications. He also has a wealth of experience and expertise in software development.
