Inclusion is defined as the practice or policy of providing equal access to opportunities and resources for people who might otherwise be excluded or marginalized. This is important because DEI isn't inclusive if it doesn't include people with disabilities. Several recent reports such as OMB M-24-08 have been released to ensure federal agencies are meeting the Section 508 requirements; looking beyond the legal requirements we will discuss how digital accessibility impacts and ensures the unique needs of all customers and employees are met.
